Ghazālī Litany of Ten

✓ May be skipped by non-beginners
✓ Perform Fajr with presence of heart, and thereafter make general duʿā
✓ Then do each dhikr below 100 times, or 70, or 10

EN

1.       There is no god but Allah alone, who has no partner. His is the dominion and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and gives death, and He is the Ever-living who never dies. In His hand is all good, and He has power over all things.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

EN

2.       There is no god but Allah, the Sovereign, the Real, The Clarifier.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْـمَلِكُ الْـحَقُّ المُبِينُ

EN

3.       There is no god but Allah, the One, the Conqueror, Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between, the Magnificent, the Forgiving.

لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ

EN

4.       Glory be to Allah, all praise is to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is Great; there is no power nor might except by Allah, the High, the Mighty.

سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ والْحَمْدُللّهِ وَلا اِلهَ اِلَّا اللّهُ وَاللّهُ اَكْبَرُ وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ

EN

5.       All-Glorious, All-Holy, Lord of the angels and of the Spirit.

سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسٌ، رَبُّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالرُّوحِ

EN

6.       Glory be to Allah, the Mighty, and with His praise.

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ العَظِيْمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

EN

7.       I seek the forgiveness of Allah, the Mighty, apart from whom there is no god, the Ever-living, the Self-subsistent, I repent to Him, I ask Him to accept my repentance and forgive me.

أستَغفِرُ اللهَ العَظِيمَ اَلَّذِي لَا اِلهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الحَيُ القَيُّومُ وَأتُوْبُ إلَيهِ وَأسْألُهُ التَّوْبَةَ وَالمَغفِرَة

EN

8.       Allah, none can withhold what You bestow, none can bestow what You withhold, there is none to repel what You ordain; the fortune of any who possess fortune will in no way avail them against You.

اللَّهُمَّ لا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلا رَادَّ لِمَا قَضَيْتَ وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ

EN

9.       Allah, blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and peace.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ سَيِّدِنا مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّم

EN

10.   In the name of Allah, by whose Name nothing on earth and nothing in heaven can cause harm. He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
