1. I seek refuge in Allāh from the accursed Satan. In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. All praise be to Allāh, Lord of the worlds. The Beneficent, the Merciful. Owner of the Day of Judgment. You only do we worship, and You only do we beg for help. Guide us on the straight path. The path of those whom You have favoured; not of those who earn Your anger nor of those who go astray. Āmīn.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm, Al-ḥamdu li Llāhi Rabbi l-ʿālamīn, ar-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm, Māliki yawmi d-dīn, iyyāka naʿbudu wa iyyāka nastaʿīn, ihdinā ṣ-ṣirāṭa l-mustaqīm, ṣirāṭa lladhīna anʿamta ʿalayhim ghayri l-maghḍūbi ʿalayhim wa la ḍ-ḍāllīn.
2. Allah: There is no god but He, the Living, the All-Sustaining. Neither dozing overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth. Who can intercede with Him without His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them; while they encompass nothing of His knowledge, except what He wills. His Seat extends to the Heavens and to the Earth, and it does not weary Him to look after them. He is the All-High, the Supreme. (2:255)
Allāhu lā ilāha illā Huwa l-Ḥayyu l-Qayyūm, lā ta’khudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawm, lahu mā fi s-samāwāti wa mā fi l-arḍ, man dha lladhī yashfaʿu ʿindahu illā bi idhnih, yaʿlamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā khalfahum wa lā yuḥīṭūna bi shay’in min ʿilmihī illā bimā shā’a, wasiʿa kursiyyuhu s-samāwāti wa l-arḍ, wa lā ya’ūduhu ḥifẓuhumā wa Huwa l-ʿAliyyu l-ʿAẓīm.
3. The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, as do the faithful. They all believe in God, His angels, His scriptures, and His messengers. ‘We make no distinction between any of His messengers,’ they say, ‘We hear and obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord. To You we all return!’ (2:285) Allah does not burden any soul with more than it can bear: each gains whatever good it has done, and suffers its bad- ‘Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or make mistakes. Lord, do not burden us as You burdened those before us. Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelievers.’ (2:286)
